The Space Coast FPRA is excited to welcome Adam Lowenstein, Director of Marketing & Communications of the Economic Development Commission (EDC) of Florida’s Space Coast (www.spacecoastedc.org) to be the featured speaker at the October monthly program. Adam will talk about his transition from the Florida Today news desk to the communications desk at the EDC of Florida’s Space Coast.
Adam currently oversees strategic communications, manages several marketing initiatives and serves as a media liaison, among other responsibilities.
Prior to joining the EDC, Adam worked in media and communications for nearly two decades. That included working as a consultant to small businesses interested in developing internal communications plans and holding several positions in newspapers across the Midwest and Southeast, including as a city hall reporter, metro editor and business editor. For the last six years, Adam worked as an editor and columnist at Florida Today in Brevard County.
